Before you come

Each site has containers for various types of waste. Before you come, please separate your waste into different types. But don’t worry if you’re not sure. We can give you advice on site about what goes where.

Residents of Tayport, Newport, Wormit, Leuchars, Balmullo and Guardbridge are also able to utilise two facilities in Dundee, which are:

  • Baldovie Recycling Centre, Piper Street, Dundee.

For full information on what can be recycled at these two sites please visit the Dundee City Council website (takes you to an external site).

Kincardine residents

Residents in Kincardine can access the Forthbank Recycling Centre on Bowhouse Road, Alloa.  Residents using this site must carry proof of address to allow them access to the Forthbank site.

Further information on the location of this Recycling Centre along with the materials that are accepted can be found by visitng the Clackmannanshire Council website.

Why separate the materials?

In Fife, we now recycle up to 70% of the materials you bring to our recycling centres but you can help us get even better.  By separating your waste into recyclable and non recyclable waste, it enable us to recycle even more and reduce the volume of waste that we send to landfill.
