To carry out family history general and particular assisted searches of the records members of the public can do this by contacting any registration office in Fife by calling 08451 55 00 77

Costs

General search £25 an hour
Particular search £5

Statutory records range from the present day back to 1855 and the old parish records from 1854 back to 1553. Registration staff have access to all the Scottish records and Census returns from 1901 to 1911. Please note that general public online access to records is limited by the "100 year rule" because of data protection.
