Out of hours emergencies

Environmental Services operate an out of hours stand by rota. Environmental Health Officers are on call to respond to food and waterborne incidents notified to the Council by NHS Fife or Scottish Water.

This arrangement is only to be used where these emergencies are reported to the Council by either of the following Agencies:

The 'on call' Consultant in Public Health Medicine, NHS Fife, reporting an instance of food or waterborne disease.
Scottish Water reporting an incident in accordance with the Scottish Waterborne Hazard Plan.
