Care at home

We provide services to help you or an older relative carry on living at home:

Home care and home helps
Home care and home helps involves someone coming into your home to help you with personal care, like dressing or washing.

Meals on wheels
We deliver meals to older or vulnerable people in their own homes.

Community alarm service
Fife Council have a community alarm scheme to help you stay at home if you are older or have a disability.

Mobile Emergency Care Service
The Mobile Emergency Care Service (MECS) allows vulnerable people and their carers to call for help in an emergency at any time, day or night.  The service operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Telecare can provide a range of devices and services that use new technology to enable people to live with greater independence and safety in their own homes.

Equipment and adaptations
Our Occupational Therapy Team visit people at home to look at the practical difficulties they are having and help find solutions. For simple everyday living equipment, like special cutlery, we can often advise you over the phone without the need for a visit.
