Flexible Working

The subject Flexible Working in Fife Council covers both of the following distinct but interrelated areas:

 

Firstly, where individual employees wish to work non-traditional work patterns including part-time, job share, compressed hours etc. This would include requests by employees to work flexibly either under the statutory or non-statutory procedure.  See Indivudal requests to work flexibly

 

Secondly, the more strategically enabled move by the Council and its Services to increase and better equip staff to work differently in terms of different Workstyles (i.e. Mobile, Flexible, Flexible in Team Zone and Home working).  See Mobile and Flexible Workstyles
