Our pages are designed to help you through the planning application process.
To establish if planning permission is required we strongly recommend that you read the information on our pages Do I Need Planning Permission as well as the Scottish Government website before contacting us.
New legislation now enables some householders to develop their homes without the need for planning permission. Projects such as extensions, porches, sheds, garages, decking, fences and access ramps are included in the changes. There will still be certain restrictions relating to conservation areas and listed buildings. Although planning permission may not be required, there may be a requirement for a Building Warrant.
