Description
A Care Home offers an alternative home for a person who is unable to continue living at home safely. We currently have 10 local authority homes in Fife, which are continuously staffed and provide meals, activities and help with personal care and daily living.

You will attend to the personal, social, recreational and emotional needs of older people within a residential setting and provide a stimulating environment.

The primary aim is to initiate and develop a programme of activities which is informed by the needs, preferences and interests of the service users with the purpose of maintaining and/or improving quality of life.

This work may be done with individuals or in group settings. Involvement and consultation with service users, key workers, other care staff and family members is critical in devising activities responsive to individual need.

The demands of the post will require you to work flexible hours.

You must have the ability to travel throughout Fife.

Before confirming appointment, you will be required to obtain PVG scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland.
