| Description |
Supported accommodation with care and support is a service for adults aged 16-65 for adults with disabilities at a variety of locations across Fife. The service helps people to live in an ordinary house in the community or small group homes. You will work as part of a team led by the Senior Social Care Worker receiving encouragement, 'on the job' coaching, support to carry out a wide range of care tasks and promote independence and social inclusion. Shift working and sleeping in duties are involved. You will undertake activities outwith the normal such as accompanying service users on holidays, to clubs, outings, sports events, training sessions and conferences. You will have the commitment to undertake training to obtain the appropriate SVQ Level III qualification. Before confirming appointment, you will be required to obtain PVG Scheme Membership through Disclosure Scotland.
