| Description |
Internal Applicants Only Housing and Neighbourhood Services delivers a range of services to customers across Fife including housing management, sheltered housing and homelessness services. To facilitate & support the delivery of services in relation to the role & responsibilities of the teams within the Asset Management section of Housing and Neighbourhood Services. To act as first point of contact for enquiries to the Service and deliver excellent responsive services. Support key processes, policies and strategies. Processing of data using IT systems and databases. Maintain knowledge of the relevant professional area, standards, systems, applications, and sources of information. Maintain knowledge and awareness of local and national initiatives, regulation and legislation as they affect the remit and scope of this post. Liaise and communicate effectively at all levels internally and externally in relation to processes, procedures and service provision. Assist with developing, implementing, and reviewing the effective recording and processing of information, applications, complaints, etc. Work independently or as part of a team and be able to use own initiative to provide comprehensive support within the Service by managing effective administrative procedures and systems. Contribute to the development of the service and ensure that all service delivery requirements are met. Support the improvement of local authority & private sector housing. Be responsible for the effective management of Health and Safety activity as defined in the Service’s Health & Safety Management Framework Document. Thew successful candidate would have to be educated to SVQ2 level or equivalent.
