St. Kenneth's Primary School provides education for Roman Catholic families in the old mining village of Ballingry, Lochore, Crosshill and Glencraig on the outskirts of Lochgelly.

There are 10 classes and a morning and afternoon nursery sessions. There is a small hall, dining area, library/TV room, music room and a computer suite. There is a controlled entry system and CCTV cameras to support security within the building and grounds. There are extensive tarmac and grassed play areas. We are situated at the edge of Ballingry and we have beautiful farmland adjacent to our play areas.

We are aiming to create an attractive learning environment where pupils, parents and staff work together to provide the highest possible standard of education for all our pupils.

The Expressive Arts Curriculum is supported by specialist teachers in Art and Design, Music, PE and Drama. In music we have instruction in brass for those children who show musical promise. Classes are encouraged to take part in festivals and competitions.

A residential programme is offered to P7 pupils.

We have after school clubs for P1 to P7 pupils, Monday to Friday.

With a Grounds for Learning Grant we have established a wildlife/woodland area to support Science and Environmental Studies Curriculum.

Parents are always welcome to discuss any aspect of our school.
