This museum, sited on the harbour front in Anstruther, tells the story of Scottish fishing and its people from the earliest times to the present.  We have a large collection of boats (full-size and models), tools, personal possessions, paintings and photographs displayed in historic buildings.  A highlight of the tour is our Fisherman's Cottage where you can see how fisherfolk lived in the 1900s.

Our Exhibition Room hosts three - four special exhibitions a year and we have monthly art exhibitions in the Merchant's Room Gallery (admission free).

We also have a friendly tearoom serving homemade soup and snacks, and a well stocked shop where you can find unusual nautical gifts and books.
