Inverkeithing Primary School Image 1

Inverkeithing Primary opened to pupils on 31st October 2006. It is a new school built to replace the old Roods Road school as part of the PPP initiative within Fife Council.

The building has extensive facilities all located in one building on ground level therefore providing access for all. The facilities include 15 classrooms with wet areas, a Community Lounge, Dining Hall and separate Gym Hall with changing rooms, tutorial rooms, resource room, storage rooms, a Music Room, and IT/Library room, a Medical Suite and Laundry, Admin offices and reception area, Soft Rooms and a Sensory Room.

There is ample provision of disabled toilets, cloakrooms and toilets for pupils.

The external areas of the playground include secure playgrounds on either side of the building but located at the back of the school, with an environmental garden area and dining terrace where pupils may eat lunch when the weather allows.

The school is located beside Inverkeithing Nursery and Inverkeithing High School in a shared campus.

We are fortunate to have our own minibus, which enables us to extend our area of exploration and to afford the children opportunities to participate in a number of events outside the school including sports.

We are pleased to meet with parents who wish to discuss any aspects of our school.
