Behaviour and Conduct on Buses

It is important that pupils behave in a manner which allows them to get safely to and from the school.  Fife Council provides transport to enable pupils to get from home to school and back again safely.  In return, we expect pupils to behave sensibly and with consideration towards others.  Most pupils do.  A small minority, however, acts in a way which could endanger the safety and welfare of other passengers.

We have drawn up a Code of Good Conduct, aimed at ensuring the safety of all passengers.

We appreciate that most pupils behave in a responsible manner but we give warning that instances of unacceptable behaviour will be followed up.  Persistent or serious misbehaviour may result in your bus pass being withdrawn, or if pupils pay fares, the operator may refuse to carry them any longer.  This could result in pupils being required to travel with another operator, whose timetable might not be so convenient.  The School Transport Code of Good Conduct is attached at the bottom of this page.
