Dispensation on the prohibition of use of fireworks

The Fireworks (Scotland) Regulations 2004

In general fireworks displays must not be held between 11 pm and 7 am. On Bonfire Night, Hogmanay, and the first days of the Chinese New Year and Diwali, there are limited extensions to these times.

You can apply for a dispensation to allow a fireworks display during the restricted time.

Note: If you are applying for a dispensation, it must be received by Fife Council not later than 6 weeks prior to the proposed fireworks display.

There is no fee for this service.
