Notification for Completion of Development

Once you have completed your building works you are required to inform Fife Council as the Planing Authority.  This is a mandatory part of the planning process.  This allows us to check that you have completed the works to the agreed plans and design.

Section 27B(1) of the Town and Country Planning (Scotland) Act 1997 as amended by the Planning etc (Scotland) Act 2006 requires a person who completes a development for which planning permission has been given by this planning authority must, as soon as practicable after doing do, give notice of completion to Fife Council

Failure to return this notice may constitute a breach of planning control under Section 123 (1) of the Act which may result in enforcement action being taken.
