McLean Primary SchoolMcLean Primary School was opened in 1896, by Andrew Carnegie. The building has modernised and developed over the years to include classrooms and open plan areas, a library, an ICT suite and a multi-use hall.  A purpose built nursery is set within the school grounds.

McLean Primary offers a warm welcome to pupils, staff, parents and visitors. In an atmosphere conducive to learning, staff aim to nurture mutual respect, shared responsibility and by working in partnership for each child to achieve their full potential.  Our shared school values are 'Creativity, Leadership, Ambition and Nurture.'
