10 - 12 APRIL 2019: MAINTENANCE OF FIFE HOUSE WEST LIFTS

Our Lift Contractors, CONSULT, will be back in Fife House West Building this week, to carry out essential maintenace to both the West Building Lifts

 

The LEFT lift maintenance work is now complete and the lift is back in operation

The RIGHT Lift will be closed from use  WEDNESDAY 10TH  APRIL TO FRIDAY 12TH APRIL ( DELAYED FROM MONDAY 1ST APRIL & TUESDAY 2ND APRIL)

 

This work is required prior to the forthcoming refurbishment of the lifts in Fife House Main. There may be a short period where a respective lift hall is out of use, to allow the Contractors to erect scaffold within the lift shaft. The FM team and Facilities Officer will be in place to assist and inform as matters progress.

 

Consult will have notices and barriers at the lifts, to prevent unauthorised access. Colleagues and visitors should heed the signage at all times. The lifts will be checked for signage by FM prior to the work commencing. All going well and following operational testing, right lift is planned to be back in use as of MON 15th APRIL 2019

 

The MAIN BUILDING LIFTS are all operational as usual
