Canoeing with Outdoor Education Fife
This year’s course programme brochure from the Council’s Outdoor Education Fife team is packed with events, activities and courses to help you get the most from our great outdoors!
Based on the lochside at Lochore Meadows Country Park, the team are keen to point out some highlights they’re looking forward to delivering. These include:
Kids Adventure Activities courses:One, two, three or five day multi-activity courses available during the school holidays.
Community Sport Hub’s Big Free Weekend:Have a go at loads of different outdoor activities on Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th April at Lochore Meadows!
Watersports: Equipment will be available to hire at weekends from 4th May. The team cater for almost all ages and abilities with sit on kayaks, canoes, katakanu and stand up paddleboards– why not give it a go?
Sailing: This year we have new boats and sailing slots including have-a-go sessions on Saturday mornings, hires on Saturday afternoons, a Kids OnBoard Sailing Club on Sundays, Monday night sailing as well as private lessons.
Paddlesports: We’ve got a wide range of courses on offer including adult beginners and improvers courses, day trips and weekend journeys. There’s also regular Monday and Thursday night sessions at Lochore Meadows. New for 2019… stand up paddleboards!!
Cycle Challenges: There are two great weekend journeys planned – ‘The Great Glen’ and ‘The Bike Bivvy’.
