Archived news: published on Monday 11 Jun 2018 by Fife Council
As part of Fife Council’s Phase III Affordable Housing Programme a drop-in event is being held in the Corrie Centre in Cardenden on June 19th between 4 - 7pm. The information session is being held to discuss the proposed housing development on Cardenden Rd and Carden Crescent, Cardenden.
The event will be hosted jointly by the developer and Fife Council's affordable housing staff. Members of the public are invited to discuss the proposals and view the proposed layout and house types.
Cllr Judy Hamilton, Convener, Community & Housing Services Committee said: “We have successfully delivered Phase II of the Affordable Housing programme and many families across Fife are benefiting from living in the high quality homes. Phase Three of the programme aims to build on this success by continuing to work with our stakeholders, identify sites and deliver more council houses.
Council officers will be at the venue to discuss the plans for the proposed site and I encourage people to go along ask questions and find out more.”
It is estimated that planning application will be submitted in the next few months. Once submitted, they will be made available to view online at www.fifedirect.org.uk/planning and the standard consultation process for planning applications will begin.
