As part of Sugar Awareness Week.Primary 7  pupils from Falkland primary school, took part  in a Food Labelling Matters workshop  P7's checking the amount of sugar in drinks

The Pupils enjoyed the workshop and were surprised  with the following findings.

Some drinks contain as much as 21 cubes of sugar

A  taster test with pancakes showed that  food lower in sugar can taste just as good or better than higher sugar versions.

There is sugar in every day foods such as cereal, bread, and baked beans
