Queen Anne Community Use is delighted to reveal our vocational Beauty Therapy Programme for academic year 2018/19.

All of our courses are approved by the Guild of Beauty Therapists - the biggest professional beauty trade body in the UK and the largest insurance provider. Established for over 20 years, The Guild has over 10,000 members who are all fully qualified beauty and holistic therapists, hairdressers and nail technicians.

All of our courses are eligible for ITA funding (see below for details of this scheme) meaning you attend some courses for FREE!

Our Tutor is the amazing Susie Sands. Susie is a practicing Beauty Therapist with years of industry experience and a qualified Lecturer.

 

In-House Courses:

All take place at Queen Anne High School, Dunfermline.

 

Manicure & Pedicure (8 & 9 September 2018 + assessment) £195

 

Make Up I & II (24 & 25 November 2018 + assessment) fee tbc

 

Nail Extensions - Gels (2 & 3 Feb 2019 + assessment) fee tbc

 

Eye Care & Lash Lift (2 & 3 March 2019 + assessment) fee tbc

 

Facial Care (Summer 2019) fee tbc

 

All in-house courses include a salon-quality kit in the course fee.

ITA

Skills Development Scotland (SDS) Individual Training Accounts (ITAs) are for people who are 16 or over, living in Scotland and either in low paid work or actively seeking work. You must have an income of £22,000 a year or less, or be on certain benefits to be eligible to get up to £200 towards the costs of learning or training. You can apply for an ITA if you are not undertaking any secondary, further or higher education, SDS funded training or participating on the Community Jobs Scotland programme.

ITAs are available if you are interested in learning something new or developing an existing skill to support you in work. There is a wide range of courses to choose from and you can study with any ITA approved learning provider, including learning centres, local colleges, universities and private training providers.
