Do you love playing the piano and want to share your passion with the local community?

Piano Tuition is one of our most popular activities. Although we offer lots of 1-2-1 lessons every week there are still loads of people on our waiting lists.

We are looking for qualified teachers or experienced musicians (16 years or over) who are keen to deliver 30-minute one-to-one lessons in the evenings or at weekends. We are flexible and can offer work on days and times to suit your diary.

We don't offer ABRSM graded piano exams. Our piano lessons are part of our 'Learning for Leisure' programme and are tailored to the learners' specific needs. Community Use Schools offer a great enviroment to work in. Our staff take care of all bookings and enquiries so all you need to do is turn up and enjoy teaching piano.

The rate of pay is good for a part-time job and there are additional payments for preparation time and working after 8pm or at weekends.

If you would like to be considered for a post teaching piano in the Dunfermline or Inverkeithing areas or have a question please contact scott.fenton@fife.gov.uk in the first instance.

Thank you!
