While most of us are having a great time and getting ready to enjoy the Christmas and New Year festivities, for some, this time of year can be tough to cope with.

To help, the Adult Support & Protection Committee and Fife Council Communities & Neighbourhoods are again distributing a handy guide to help people cope over the festive period.

The ‘Surviving Christmas and New Year; staying safe and keeping well’ booklet brings together phone support service numbers and websites, with useful tips and information which anyone in Fife can use when trying to cope with difficult times.  Copies are being distributed across the Kingdom by NHS, Council and 3rd sector services

The information is available as a 36 page booklet, summarised as a wallet-sized foldout, and in easy read and plain text.  All versions can be downloaded from: www.fifedirect.org.uk/adultprotection.  To request a paper copy contact: shona.mcewan@fife.gov.uk or call 03451 55 55 55 ext 442134.

If you, or someone you know is at risk of harm or neglect call the Adult Protection Phone Line on 01383 602200.
