Curriculum for Excellence: Health and Wellbeing
Materials supporting the health and wellbeing experiences and outcomes are available on the www.healthpromotingschoolsfife.co.uk website and can be accessed through the curriculum for excellence folder.
The material in this section provides examples of progression, cross curricular links and partnership working that may help education staff and all contributing services in taking forward the health and wellbeing outcomes.
The suggestions provided to support the outcomes are not prescriptive and can be changed to meet the needs of children, young people and the whole school community. The folder also contains Reflection Tools for use by all staff.
There are also national documents available in this section of the website.

Administration of Emergency Medication Training
Training dates for Initial and Update sessions were sent to the schools prior to the summer holidays along with the Annual Update Checklist.
Education staff must book training sessions on Educations CPD on line via FISH.
All educational establishments should have someone trained whether or not they have pupils who require medication at that time. Problems arise when pupils who do require medication enrol in the school mid-term and the pupil cannot be accommodated until someone has training.
It is important to reflect the innovative and partnership working that is ongoing across all services in Fife. To help this process please could you let me know of any work or events you would like to share with others and we will put it on the website.
The website will continue to be reviewed and updated in line with national and local developments.
Please do not hesitate to contact me if you wish further information - or to forward any examples of good practice, innovation or events happening in your area - contact Anne.Aberdein@fife.gov.uk
