Mark Gilfillan, Supervisor MST West, has received an MST Whatever It Takes Award after being nominated by Vicki Cassells, MST Programme Manager and Mhairi Fleming , external MST Consultant.
Mhairi and Vicki wanted to recognise Mark’s contributions to MST Fife over the past six months. Mark took on significantly more On Call coverage to support both Fife MST teams, while his fellow supervisor was unwell and to accommodate holidays, and his flexibility provided consistent support to both Fife Teams. He also provided supervision cover for the other team and made himself available to the therapists in the other team when they needed him.
Mark has also supported the Programme Manager with recruitment and successfully recruited three new therapists who are now all in post and doing a great job! Mark has done all of this by using his experience, commitment to MST and his ever present sense of humour. This has allowed him to maintain and build an amazing staff morale and he has a team who, like him, really have the ‘whatever it takes’ approach!!!
