Roadworks on Wellesley Road, Methil

Archived news: published on Thursday 21 Jul 2016 by Fife Council

We’ll be resurfacing Wellesley Road, Methil from Monday 25 July for up to 2 weeks.

In order to carry out these works safely there’ll be a road closure in place for the duration of the contract. See map under 'Publications' for location of works and diversion route.

The works will carried out in phases from the Methil Brae end and finish at Whyterose Terrace.

Bus services will be affected by the road closures. Bus stops will be shut off within works areas and bus users should go to the next available bus stop. For more information on the bus services please contact Stagecoach on (01592) 645680 or visit www.stagecoachbus.com

Access for the emergency services will be maintained at all times.

We apologise for any inconvenience and delay caused by these essential works, we’ll try to keep disturbance to a minimum. Your patience and co-operation during this time is greatly appreciated.

Fife Council is responsible for carrying out these works.
