Fife National Playday Celebration

Come and join in the fun on  Wednesday 3rd August, 12noon to 3pm,  at Lochore Meadows Country Park  by celebrating this years National Play Day event.

 

There will be lots of fun to be had for all ages including babies and toddlers, children and young people and adults too with lots of opportunities to be creative, use your imagination and be physically active on the day!

 

Join us for sensory & messy play, woodland play, den building, loose part play, sports & games, bicycle rides, family adventure walks, bug hunts, treasure hunts, book bug & storytelling, baby massage, play talk read bus and play@home activities.

 

The Playday 'Play matters' campaign is calling on everyone to help make sure that children and young people across the UK have the time, freedom and space to play more. As well as promoting children’s right to play, the campaign is highlighting that Play matters for:

  • children’s mental health and well-being                                                                                                                                                                                                                                 
  • creativity and learning                                                                                  
  • all ages and abilities
  • communities
