FIFEplan, Supplementary Guidance
Fife Council is inviting comment on documents with a view to adopting them as Supplementary Guidance to the Local Development Plan (LDP), FIFEPlan.
The consultation on four supplementary guidance planning policy documents begins today for 7 weeks, running 17 March - 5 May 2017.
The supplementary guidance expands on existing policies and provides the necessary detail for specific policy development areas. It is designed to help applicants make successful planning applications and for residents to understand the various issues that the Council will consider in assessing planning applications.
These guidance documents provide further detail to the policies that are already included in FIFEplan, the Local Development Plan, which have been considered though the FIFEplan Examination.
The four supplementary guidance documents are:
- Affordable Housing Supplementary Guidance
- Minerals Supplementary Guidance
- Planning Obligations Supplementary Guidance
- Making Fife’s Places Supplementary Guidance.
These documents are available to view at Fife Council’s Planning office in Glenrothes. The consultation is online and the documents can be viewed, and comments left on-line at www.fifedirect.org.uk/fifeplan
