Babcock apprentices win coveted award

A team of Project Management (PM) apprentices from Babcock Rosyth has beaten off stiff competition from companies across Scotland to be crowned winners of a coveted national business prize.
The apprentices were named Coporate Winners of the 2016 Scottish PM Challenge run by the Assocation for Project Management Scotland branch.
The competition, for teams of students, graduates or young project managers, provides invited teams with a useful opportunity to work through the completed life cycle of a project - from conception to close-out.
To come out top, the Babcock apprentices had to showcase their innovation whilst raising money for charity. The team raised more than £3,000 for CHAS from a site-wide raffle at Rosyth and based their project on the Queen Elizabeth Class Aircraft Carriers currently being assembled at Rosyth.
