Fife House Car Park Works - Latest Information

Archived news: published on Friday 03 Aug 2018 by Fife Council

Now that phase 1 is complete, the car park between Fife House and Kingdom House will be re-opened from Monday 6th August.  However, Phase 2 will then commence and will result in the temporary closure of the main car parking area for Fife House with effect from the same date.  Phase 2 is expected to take around 3 weeks and will see the largest car park disruption for the duration of these works.  Only the spaces in the main central part of the car park and the temporary drop off bays are affected (approx 100 or so in total).

During the period of phase 2, a number of car park spaces will be reserved in the rear part of the car park (between Fife House & Kingdom House) to accommodate purposes such as Council vehicles, Blue Badges, etc.  These spaces will be marked up by cones with signs/notices on them specifyng their use and employees are asked not to park in these spaces (NB employees with Blue Badges can park in the spaces identified as Blue Badge spaces).  Where there are Committees/etc, a small number of spaces will be reserved until the starting time after which the cones will be removed and the space made available for others.
