At Pitreavie Primary School our main goal is to encourage and support pupils to fulfil their potential in all areas of school life. We aim to create an ethos where pupils and staff feel valued and work with parents to provide all children with a high quality standard of education.
Details of curriculum developments can be found in our School Improvement Plan (available from the Headteacher). Individual pupils from P5 upwards may benefit from tuition in Cello or bass and P6 upwards in Clarsach. Testing of pupils takes place during the first two weeks of the new school session and instruction is offered thereafter to the few who show the most promise.
Pitreavie Primary School values greatly its partnership with parents. The Parent Council provides tremendous support in addressing a wide range of issues. Pitreavie Primary offers an extensive programme of extra curricular activities for pupils including Netball, Hockey, Hip Hop, Karate and Football.
