At Aberdour Primary School, we believe in working in partnership with the parents/carers of our pupils with the aim of inspiring effective learning in the widest sense for every child, so that every child can fulfil their potential.
For this partnership to be effective there must be strong, trusting relationships established through two-way communication, which is understood by all involved.
We have two very committed parent groups who work closely with us to support and enhance the children's experiences in school; the Parent Council and the Parent's Association. See their pages for current details.
Parents/carers sometimes feel reluctant to come into school, not wishing to interfere or feeling they are being a nuisance. We welcome all parental interest. We genuinely want to see you and hear from you.
If you feel there is a problem, or if you simply want to discuss progress, please get in touch and we will make arrangements to see you at a mutually convenient time.
Your first point of contact will normally be through your child's Class Teacher or Head Teacher. Alternatively, by letter or telephoning the school office: 01383 602442
Parents/carers may also wish to use email to contact us. firstname.lastname@example.org
