Ambition

In Dunfermline High School we believe that in order to achieve our fullest potential we must set ourselves challenging goals. Ambition is therefore one of our core values. Here are some examples of what our pupils have achieved:

 

Caitlin plays the percussion in our school Wind Band, she won a silver award for her strong performance in the Fife Festival of Music.  She is also a talented singer and as part of the Senior Choir she won a Platinum Award at the Fife Festival of Music.  Caitlin has had a lead role as a singer in this year’s school show Star Factor-Y.                             Shannon King (2C1/CH01)

Shannon plays the flute and has represented Dunfermline High School as part of the Wind Band in the Fife Festival of Music where she won a Silver Award.  She is also a talented singer and performed in the Fife Festival of Music as part of the school’s Junior Choir and again winning a Silver Award. Shannon is part of the S2 Girls Hockey Team and has represented the school as both an outfield player and goalkeeper.

Lucy has represented Scotland in Karate at the European Championships and the British Championships.  She is also currently preparing for the 2016 World Championships.  Lucy is part of the Junior School Choir and won a Silver Award in the Fife Festival of Music.  She is also a strong member of the S1 Girls Hockey team here at Dunfermline High School and has represented the school in regular fixtures against other schools as well as in the S1 Fife Schools Tournament.
