In Dunfermline High School we always aim to meet our full potential in everything that we do.  Commitment is therefore one of our core values. Here are some examples of what our pupils have achieved:


Leigh is part of the school European Youth Parliament Team for Dunfermline High School where she had to engage in collaborative speeches and reached the National Final.  Leigh also plays the chelo and is a talented musician, she has been selected to be part of the Fife Schools String Orchestra.  Leigh has represented the school as part of the Maths Challenge Team who competed in a national competition at Edinburgh University.                                      Emma Forrest (2H3 HH13)

Emma has great sporting ability.  She has represented Scotland in both the British Judo Championships and Flanders International Judo Competition.  She has represented Dunfermline High School at the Fife Schools Badminton Championships.  Emma has also represented the school at the Fife Schools Cross-Country and the Fife Schools Regional Athletics event in the 200m, long jump, shot putt and 4x100m girls relay.  Emma is a valuable member of the S2 Girls Hockey Team and has played in the S2 Fife Tournament as well as friendly games against other schools.
