Employee Counselling Service

Employee Counselling Contract

Time for Talking (otherwise known as Therapeutic Counselling Services) will continue to provide the Council’s employee counselling service for a further three years up to the 31st March 2021 after being successful in the recent tender process,

TFT’s counsellors provide specialist expertise and offer the most up to date treatment. They will assess the underlying route cause of any issues and educate employees on self-help strategies to prevent the risk of any re-occurring problems.

As this is a continuation of service from TFT you will be aware that the initial method of service is via telephone counselling. Face to face counselling will only be provided where after a telephone consultation the Counsellor recommends that the employee will gain more benefit from face to face sessions.

Who can access Employee Counselling?

The service is open to all employees of Fife Council including those who are off work due to sickness or other reasons. Counselling is for both work-related and personal problems and cover issues such as personal or emotional difficulties, relationship or family concerns, stress, harassment or bullying, bereavement, etc.
