Electric Vehicle Network & Charging Points

Charge Point Update

10 October - South Street, Leven - unit off site for repair.

Fife Council and its Community Planning Partners have worked in Partnership with Transport Scotland to set up a network of Electric Vehicle Charging Points at its main Council Offices & Depots.

There are currently 35 Charging Points which are available for the general public to use, at Long Stay Car Parks in Town Centres, and at Public Transport Interchanges such as Railway Stations.

This includes 4 new rapid chargers located at:

Petheram Bridge car park, St Andrews

Bankhead Central (visitors car park), Glenrothes

Halbeath Park and Ride, Dunfermline - two rapid chargers and a semi rapid

There is no requirement to pay parking charges while you are charging a vehicle in the charging bays BUT the car must be connected to the charge point and charging.

An interactive map of all the locations is available to view online, as well as information of how to get yourself set up on the scheme.
