Within Fife, we have a great range of organisations that can help built both you and your employee's skills and knowledge.  Here are a few.

Culture of Enterprise
The Culture of Enterprise Framework is a programme to help the foundation of long-term change, while addressing immediate priorities.  Starting in schools, the Framework supports individuals and companies across Fife to create “a dynamic, innovative and enterprising culture that values and supports entrepreneurship and ensures that opportunities are available to everyone with the drive to succeed.”  Joint working with Education, Employability and Skills, Community Partnerships and Economic Development ensures a cohesive and evolving programme.

Elmwood College
Scotland’s Rural College (SRUC) is a specialist horticultural and agricultural institution.  Based at the Elmwood Campus in Cupar, SRUC plays a role in serving the needs of the rural land based sector and more significantly has become the premier training provider to Scotland.

Fife College
The College boasts first-class facilities, expert teaching and a wide range of courses suited to the needs of local and national industry. With ten campuses across the regional and a host of local learning centres the College is within easy reach of the Fife community making learning even more accessible than ever before. At Fife College deliver over 1000 education and training courses for over 22,000 students studying at a range of levels from introductory and access programmes, through craft and intermediate levels to higher diplomas, degrees and post-graduate studies.

Opportunities Fife
Opportunities Fife is the partnership of Fife Council, Skills Development Scotland, Scotland’s Colleges Fife, Jobcentre Plus, NHS Fife and Fife’s Third Sector organisations. They are responsible for driving forward the employability and skills agenda within Fife’s Community Planning structures. Their aim is to work together to tackle worklessness in Fife through effective employability measures and also help tackle related issues of poverty, income inequality and health. Through working collaboratively and engaging with employers they can deliver a cohesive employability service for Fife that helps more people into jobs and develops the skills base for a thriving local economy.

Skills Development Scotland (SDS)
Skills Development Scotland work with both individuals and businesses to help access the right learning opportunities.  They can also help with modern apprenticeships and funding for training.

St Andrews University
St Andrews University can assist you with economic development, advice on policy issues or various forms of cultural engagement. Staff and students are encouraged to develop their research for possible commercial exploitation, and some staff offer consultancy based on their research.
