Advocacy

Adults (16+) and Older People are eligible for Advocacy in Fife.

People can access advocacy if affected by:

  • Disability
  • Chronic illness
  • Dementia
  • Mental illness
  • Learning disability
  • Personality disorder


and need help to safeguard their:

  • Well-being
  • Rights
  • Care
  • Other interests


Children and Young People (under 18) can access advocacy if:

  • They are looked after by Fife Council either at home, in Foster Care, Kinship Care or in Residential Care
  • Child Protection procedures are in place (aged 5 – 18 years)
  • They have a mental health issue and/or a learning disability
