Traffic Lights

Fife Council are responsible for the operation and maintenance of all permanent traffic signal installations, including pedestrian crossings, in Fife. Many sets of signals currently operate in Fife and new signals are being installed regularly as the Kingdom expands.

Key junctions are controlled by traffic signals to maintain traffic flow and improve road safety. These signals can include basic junctions, shuttle set-ups to restrict traffic to single file traffic over weak or narrow structures or complex linked systems covering several junctions.

Any queries related to existing traffic signals should be directed to the contact details provided.

For any reports of faults with traffic signals, you can notify us by using our online Road Reporting Form.
