Instrumental Music ServiceThe Instrumental Music Service is managed by the Music Co-ordinator with an administrative base at Auchterderran Centre, Cardenden and offers the following services:

Fife Music Activities

When a pupil reaches an appropriate standard, opportunities may be offered for music making in school with other pupils. In addition, Fife Music Activities offer opportunities for group music making with pupils from a range of schools.

Instrumental Instruction

Fife Council provides Instrumental Instruction in both Primary and Secondary schools.

Youth Music Initiative

The Youth Music Initiative, funded by the Scottish Government and through Creative Scotland, was launched in 2003 and promotes equal opportunity of access for all pupils to participate in music making, targeting pre-Primary 6 pupils in particular.
