New control measures

A new Access Policy is in place to control misuse of Recycling Centres.

Recycling Centres are for use by residents of Fife only and you may be asked to provide proof of address (driving license, recent utility bill etc).  Failure to provide proof of address when asked will result in refusal to dispose of waste at the site.

If you access the site in a commercial type vehicle e.g van or trailer, you must complete a Household Waste Declaration Form at the site.  If you are disposing of commercial waste, you must have a valid Recycling Ticket.

For futher information visit our Recycling Centres page.

If you live in Kincardine or the Taybridge area you may also use our partner recycling centres:

• Forthbank Recycling Centre on Bowhouse Road, Alloa
• Baldovie Recycling Centre, Piper Street, Dundee - access for cars only
• Riverside Recycling Centre, Wright Street (off Riverside Drive), Dundee - access for cars only

The materials available for recycling at the Dundee City Council and Clackmannanshire Council sites may differ to Fife. Please check before you travel (links take you to an external site).

Residents using the Forthbank Recycling Centre must carry proof of address to allow them access to the site.
