Great British Baking

cookery ingredients This exciting new course will teach participants a range of contemporary recipes and techniques. Learners will be taught how to prepare cakes (e.g. Chocolate Oreo Cake), traybakes (e.g. Caramel Oatmeal Bars), pies (e.g. Key Lime Pie) and cookies (e.g. White Chocolate & Orange Cookies) as well as creating different types of pastry and dough. A range of decoration and presentation techniques will also be learned.

Learners are required to provide the ingredients each week but will take home their finished produce at the end of each lesson. In addition, there are some essential items of equipment that they are required to buy for the duration of the course and for home-baking during and afterwards. A full list of what is required will be sent to learners at time of booking.
