Here at Levenmouth Academy, our Course Tutor, Cathy Davies delivers The European Computer Driving Licence (ECDL). ECDL is a British Computer Society course and is designed to cover key concepts of computing. The student will learn to demonstrate competence in computing skills in the following areas:

- Concepts of IT
- Using the Computer and Managing Files
- Word Processing
- Spreadsheets
- Databases
- Presentation
- Information and Communication

Entry Requirements There is no preferred entry level, however, students involved in this course should have experience in keyboard and mouse operation plus a knowledge of Windows operating environment.

Qualifications Gained European Computer Driving Licence
Equipment Required Course will use PCs and Microsoft Office 2016 and Windows 10.

Subject to demand, this class will continue to be run throughout the year. Advanced tuition might also be available soon for the core subjects.

ITA accounts can be utilised to part pay for the course. ITA accounts must be activiated prior to the course commencement and the Centre informed of the account number prior to the course start date.
