Introduction to Interior Design

Ever wondered how to choose the perfect colour for your sitting room? Looking to inject some personality in your home but don't know where to begin? Then maybe this is the interior design course for you! Over nine weeks we will work on a project from start to finish, looking at a room and learning the important factors we need to consider when arranging our furniture and choosing our lighting. We will explore colour - its impact, its effects and how to choose just the right shade and tone for your space. We will build up the schemes with pattern, texture and finishing touches to create "wow factor" schemes each designer can be proud of!

Please bring a notebook and a pen for week 1, on-going weeks will require you to collect pictures/images and samples of ideas and materials which you would like to use in your designs.
