Jimmie MacGregor - Crail Festival 2016 GATHERING OF SONGS, STORIES AND FAMOUS FOLK

Jimmie MacGregor, a well-known Scottish entertainer, comes to Crail Festival with his much acclaimed one man show, that confirms not only his humour but also his considerable talent as a relaxed, incomparable communicator.

?A graduate of the Glasgow school of art, Jimmie Macgregor has worked as a schoolteacher, quarryman, mortuary attendant, folk musician, potter, illustrator and radio and television presenter.

Hugely influential in the folk music revival, he has toured the world, appearing in countless venues from the Albert and Festival halls to the smallest folk clubs. With more than 20 record albums to his credit, he has composed and played theme music for radio and television. His double award winning radio programme ran 5 days per week for over 10 years, and his radio and television programmes on long distance walks and wildlife were extremely popular. Who can forget his long running association with Robin Hall.

**Tickets for some events may be available at the door, but as venues have capacity restrictions we strongly recommend ordering tickets in advance to avoid disappointment.**
